SEC 01 · THE PROBLEM

Editing is where publishing dies — hours on a timeline for minutes of output.

The work you’d open CapCut, Premiere or Resolve for — cuts, captions, framing, color, pacing — without the timeline.

The frame before the rejected joint: the founder mid-line in the workshop.
The frame after it — nearly the same framing, which is why the cut reads as a jump.

00:00:29:04 · CUT 01 — REJECTED
00:00:36:14 · CUT 02 — REJECTED
This hard cut here is too visible. It doesn't really work. We tried this first sequence variation but upon looking at it and going through it we realized that it doesn't work. It's too abrupt and it's clear that there was a mistake in here that had to be cut and unfortunately it does not work. We'll need to try and edit this part again. It's a mechanical error. In technical principle it is a valid decision but in terms of flow and how it actually looks and feels when you watch it, it doesn't feel natural. It's a robotic cut that just doesn't work.

03 — ATTEMPT TWO, VIABLE

Judged cut by cut — the founder's own grades, verbatim.

00:00:36:14 · CUT 04 — REJECTED

JUDGED CUT BY CUT — THE FOUNDER'S OWN GRADES, VERBATIM.

Here in this version we try to do a reframe. While the cut is still not perfect, it's a lot better than before so this could be viable but ideally we would avoid a cut here if we had a better take, which we'll need to go and see if we do have it. So a reframe like we did here definitely works. It's a lot better than it was before. And also the cut into the next scene is enough. There's enough difference between the two scenes that it works. It's not perfect but it works so again we go from a static scene into the static scene so no motion issues there.

04 — THE FINAL

The final: the line in one continuous take.

V1FINALTHE CONTINUOUS TAKE · 00:00:24:19 → END
A1Audio lane: the final's real waveform.
00:00:24:19 → END · FINAL — ACCEPTED
We used one continuous take, so this is the best one, where everything that needs to be said is said. It's very fluent, natural-sounding, and it just works so this is the final version.

SEC 09 · EDITORS

Humans, in the loop — on the record.

Every editor who teaches RCM 1 edits under license, is paid, and is credited. Their names are on the ledger.

Human Refine: a professional editor takes one paid pass over your cut, inside the same session.

Working editors: we pay editors to edit — and think out loud. Apply here.

SEC 10 · THE RECORD

No perpetual license over your content.

No training on your work without an explicit opt-in.

No fake demos — human work is labeled HUMAN EDIT, always.

What exactly is a credit?

1 credit = 1 edit-minute of raw footage processed. Ten minutes of raw takes through a full first cut costs 10 credits. Extra variations on the same upload cost half rate. Chat refinements and time-anchored notes are free — fair use is 20 recuts per cut, disclosed here so the meter never surprises you.

Do you train on my data on paid plans?

No — never silently. Paid tiers train nothing by default. Any change to data settings is opt-in, never opt-out, and nothing is pre-checked.

What does early access mean?

We’re training RCM 1 now. Onboarding runs in small batches, edges are rough, and the examples on this site are cut by human editors — the craft the model learns. Founding pricing is locked while you stay subscribed.

What happens to my founding price later?

It holds. $19 Creator and $59 Pro stay locked for as long as you stay continuously subscribed — 500 seats total.

Is there an API?

Studio includes REST API access and MCP. Keys can be minted today and the request contract is published; calls return 503 until RCM 1 clears our quality bar.
