Real Cut turns raw talking footage into finished shorts. If your audience records themselves — creators, coaches, founders — the program pays 30% of every payment your referrals make, recurring for their first 12 months, on a 60-day cookie we publish instead of hiding. Payouts by PayPal on the 15th, from $20.
01The offer, complete.
COMMISSION: 30% RECURRING × 12 MONTHS PER CUSTOMER
COOKIE: 60 DAYS · LAST TOUCH · PUBLISHED
PAYOUT: $20 MINIMUM · PAYPAL · THE 15TH MONTHLY
ACTIVE AFFILIATES: PRO FREE
Most programs in this category publish the rate and bury the rest. The whole offer is above; the conduct rules and edge cases are on one terms page. If a number changes, every affiliate gets 30 days of notice, and commissions already earned are never reduced.
02How it works.
Apply
Send where you publish and who watches. A person reads every application. Accepted affiliates get a tracked link, a personal promo code, and the launch kit — real before/after cuts, labeled honestly.
Share
Put the link where links work and say the code where they do not. Disclose the relationship. What you show your audience is the real product on real footage — nothing in the kit overclaims.
Get paid
30% of every payment your referrals make in their first 12 months. PayPal on the 15th, $20 minimum, smaller balances roll forward.
03The code you can say out loud.
Short-form buries links. On TikTok or Shorts the video does the selling and the link sits two taps away in a bio, if it survives at all. So every accepted affiliate gets a personal code alongside the link. Say it on camera, pin it in a comment, put it in the caption — anyone who enters it at checkout gets a discount, and the signup attributes to you, cookie or no cookie. The code is the tracking.
04Pro, free, while you are active.
Active affiliates hold a free Pro seat. The activity bar is deliberately low: one new referred customer, or one published piece featuring Real Cut, inside a trailing 90 days. We want recommendations made from inside the product, not from a screenshot of our homepage — an affiliate who edits with the thing is worth more to everyone, including their own audience.
05The rules, up front.
Three bans: no paid ads on our brand terms, no self-referral, no spam. Disclose the affiliate relationship wherever you promote — FTC-style, in plain sight. And represent the product as it is: it edits the real person on the footage and never fabricates one. Attribution ties, payout holds, and the program-change clause live on the terms page — short enough to actually read.
06Where the program stands.
Early-access honesty applies here too. Applications are open now and reviewed by a person. Tracking and payouts run on Rewardful, the Stripe-native affiliate platform; until that integration is switched on, early affiliates are onboarded by hand — links and codes issued manually, terms identical to this page. Nothing here describes a dashboard that does not exist yet.

What does the affiliate program pay?
30% of what each customer you refer pays Real Cut, recurring for the customer’s first 12 months. A Pro subscriber at $79 a month is $23.70 a month to you while they stay. Commission accrues only on collected payments — refunds and chargebacks reverse it.
How long does attribution last?
60 days from the last click on your link — published here, not buried. Your personal promo code also attributes at checkout with no link involved, so a code spoken in a video keeps counting after the link is scrolled away.
When and how do payouts arrive?
By PayPal on the 15th of each month, once your balance clears $20. Smaller balances roll forward to the next month. A commission becomes payable 30 days after the charge behind it — the refund window.
What gets an affiliate removed?
Three things, stated up front: paid ads on our brand terms, self-referral in any form, and spam. Disclose the relationship wherever you promote — your audience deserves to know, and FTC rules require it. The full terms fit on one page.
Do I have to be a video editor to join?
No. The program fits anyone whose audience records talking videos: creators covering content workflows, coaches who teach creators, newsletter writers, and the professional editors already on our platform. We do expect you to know the product — active affiliates hold a free Pro seat partly so every recommendation comes from real use.
Earn on the tool you would recommend anyway.
Try it on your own footage first — the free tier is real, and active affiliates get Pro. Then send the application.
