Google Drive Data Disclosure

Real Cut uses Google Drive access solely so users can import the specific files they choose from their own Drive accounts.
This page explains what data we access, how we use it, and how we comply with the Google API Services User Data Policy.
1. What Google Drive Data We Access
When you choose "Import from Drive", we request the following read-only scope:

https://www.googleapis.com/auth/drive.file
We can:
- Display your files and metadata inside selected folders
- Allow you to select files to import
- Download only the files you explicitly select
2. How We Use Google Drive Data
We use Drive data only to:
- Retrieve the files you select
- Transfer them securely to Cloudflare R2
- Provide the editing service you requested
- Deliver the edited content back to you
We do not use Google Drive data for any other purpose.
3. What We Do NOT Do
We do NOT:
- Access folders you did not select
- Modify, delete, or create files in your Drive
- Store your Google credentials
- Share Google Drive data with advertisers
- Use Drive data for marketing, analytics, or tracking
- Use Drive files to train generative AI models
- Use Drive files in any internal AI development
We comply fully with the Google API Services User Data Policy and its Limited Use requirements.
4. Data Retention
Files imported from Google Drive are:
- Stored only for the duration of the editing process
- Deleted within 30 days of account deletion
- Removed earlier upon request
